Love Love Love! I want to try!
Darling little girls! I love the soft pillowcases you made for them. If you ever want to try a different (and modest) take on a pillowcase nightgown, I put together a tutorial for Sew Mama Sew last summer. :)
these are AMAZING! i might give it a shot!
What cute p.j.'s for adorable little girls. I can't get over how tall they are...esp. Norah! Love the fabric and pattern....I might have to try it for my girls as well.
It's hard not to love these girls.
These are gorgeous...and so are your girls! I'll definitely have to give them a try sometime.
Adorable. Girls and gowns!
So cute, Hannah. If you ever wanted to add in a 4th while you're at it... Savannah is pretty close to the same size! :) You're so inspirational.
Awesome take on a simple idea! Love the eyelet fabric makes it so delicate and girly!
These turned out beautiful! Gorgeous girls too...:)
I used to sleep on that exact daisy pillowcase as a child! What memories! These are so adorable!!!!
Can you please tell me if you stretch the elastic while sewing it on the bodice and if you are using non stretch lace do you put in a button closure in the back for easier slip on and off? Thanks so much!Deana
These are so beautiful! I love the wider lace, but was wondering if it was harder for them to pull them over their sweet little heads? I also have a set of 3 girls. Thank you! :DMere
Good question. I actually made them a little loose and the fabric did give a bit. They were fine. Very comfortable for about a year of wear. They are a bit tight now but can still wear them.
Hi Hannah! These are absolutely adorable! Do you have directions somewhere? Obviously you take out the end seam. It looks as though there is some gathering going on. (I'm a beginner sewer) Do you pin first? Does it matter if you sew the pillow case to top or bottom of lace? Sorry so many questions...PLease keep sharing your ideas!Vicki
What beautiful pictures and a lovely post. I want to have a go at making one for my 16 month old daughter - hope my limited sewing skills are up to it! They would make such lovely gifts too.Thank you
I have to try these for my little granddaughters and great granddaughters! Thanks for sharing!
love these! Love these more than the ribbon ties I've seen on pillowcase dresses. Also love the idea of a pillowcase being used at bedtime again - just, as a nightie.
Your comments mean so much. Thanks for taking the time to say something.
